We are looking into a solution that would allow you to upload a packing list, which we would automatically read and parse, in order for you to have SKU-level visibility into your containers on Terminal49. Is this still of interest to you, and if so, would you be able to dedicate some time and resources to testing this solution in the next 2-3 months? We do this by importing the PO along with the MBL number. Packing List and Invoice must be received by our department anyway so it can be verified there.
Our process:
Shared excel file with forwarder. Forwarder records Vendor/Shipment Number/Container number/ PO #s and other data.
I use the PO to identify the contents and create a tag based on that (based on our internal product database that is SEASONAL)
