Great suggestion! 
The best way to do this today is to add the person's name as a Tag on the shipment, and then for each person to filter the shipments by their Tag in order to see their assigned shipments. 
In the coming-soon redesign of the Terminal49 dashboard, there will be better handling for each person's custom view of the dashboard.

Correct, the real problem happens if you setup notifications all team members get everyone's containers which causes confusion and containers being overlooked.
